Cookie policy

We try to set as few cookies as possible. The only cookie-equivalent storage we set without your permission is a single first-party preference entry to remember your cookie choice — without it we’d have to ask again on every page.

What we use

Strictly necessary (no consent required)

• tpe-cookie-consent — localStorage, first-party. Stores your “accept” or “reject” choice. Persists until you clear site data or change your choice on this page. No personal data.

Optional (only set if you accept)

• Chat assistant storage — if you accept, our chat assistant (loaded from paymentsexpert-chat-widget-…run.app) keeps your conversation history in your browser’s storage so it survives page navigation. It also sends conversation messages to our server in order to respond to you. Messages are processed under the privacy notice; any uploaded statements are deleted within 72 hours.

What we don’t use

• No advertising or marketing cookies.
• No analytics or tracking pixels.
• No social-media embeds that drop third-party cookies.

Third-party storage

The chat assistant runs on a separate domain (paymentsexpert-chat-widget-…run.app). Loading it after consent may set storage on that origin under our control. Google Cloud, which hosts the assistant, may set its own technical cookies for load balancing and security; these are not used for tracking.
