Independent UK hotels

Multi-MID, next-day funding

One ISO across rooms, F&B and spa. Cash on Friday for Friday payroll.

Independent UK hotels usually run two to four MIDs — reception, restaurant, bar, spa, function suite. We consolidate them onto one provider with one statement, one named contact, next-day funding and a rate guaranteed for the duration of your contract.

Why hotels get fragmented

Hotels acquire card terminals across years and revenue lines. Reception was set up on Worldpay when the booking engine went live; the restaurant moved to Dojo when the head chef wanted Flex-style hand-helds; the spa is on a separate Stripe link for online bookings; the function suite is still on a legacy Barclaycard rate. Every line has its own rate, terminal rental and PCI levy.

The other quiet cost is funding cadence. T+2 funding from a lot of providers means a Friday-night dinner pays the team on Monday. For hospitality businesses running payroll on Fridays, that gap costs you in working-capital headaches.

How we work with hotels

  • Consolidate every revenue line

Reception, restaurant, bar, spa, function suite — one provider, one invoice, one PCI compliance regime. Reports across all MIDs in one dashboard.

  • Next-day funding

Card volume taken on Thursday lands in your account on Friday. Important when payroll lands on a Friday — your working capital is not held hostage by a T+2 cycle.

  • No PMS or booking-engine surgery

We can usually keep the existing PMS and booking-engine integrations and swap the processor underneath. No rebuilds, no checkout downtime.

Questions from hotels

Do we have to change our PMS or booking engine?
In most cases, no. The PMS and booking engine talk to the acquirer via a gateway; we swap the acquirer behind the gateway without rebuilding the integration. We confirm compatibility during the quote.
What about commercial cards used by corporate clients?
Corporate and commercial cards are routinely 1.5–2.0% on legacy bundled rates. On interchange-plus, the spread compresses significantly. For hotels with meaningful corporate volume, this is often where the biggest saving sits.
Can you handle PCI compliance across multiple sites?
Yes. One PCI compliance regime across all your MIDs, with a single quarterly attestation and a single point of contact for any remediation. The biggest cause of PCI levy creep is fragmented compliance across providers; consolidating fixes it.
What about chargebacks?
Chargebacks are handled through one portal and one dispute team rather than three. Hotel chargebacks (no-shows, room-not-as-described) typically benefit from consistent evidence templates which a single provider can give you.
How long does consolidation take?
From signed agreement to all MIDs live is typically two to four weeks depending on the number of sites and PMS integrations involved. We schedule cutovers around your trading calendar.

One ISO across every revenue line.
